How It All Began

From the beginning, Charles knew that he was cut out to be an attorney. His grandfather and older brother had already blazed that trail, and growing up as a kid he wanted to argue cases, go to trial, and believed that it would be a great way to earn a living. He started practicing law in 1987, beginning his journey in Jacksonville, NC and eventually moving to Winston-Salem, NC. In 1992 he moved his private practice to Elkin, NC and he and his staff have been serving this area ever since.
